On October 11, 2007 at the M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, on their Pull the Pin tour, Kelly Jones, the lead singer of Stereophonics, said that this song was written around the time of the London Bombings (July 7) and that it was about something stopping you in your tracks and making you appreciate what you have.
